KS3 Static Formal

Students in the KS3 Static formal class will continue to follow the National Curriculum at a level that is appropriate to their needs. This class has a static base to reduce movement around the school as much as possible this supports students with the transitions that they find challenging.

Alongside their formal curriculum the students in this class will follow an adapted pastoral curriculum targeted at their specific needs.

KS4 Static Formal

Our curriculum is based on maximising the outcomes for pupils with ASD and / or other complex learning needs. We have a commitment to personalise the curriculum to the unique qua also have the opportunity to study vocational options such as Animal Care and Food Technology. Learning is centred around the abilities and needs of each pupil, and a teaching and learning approach that is flexible and informed by specialist knowledge of the strengths and difficulties associated with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).  

Pupils will study Entry Level qualifications in Maths, English, ICT, Life Skills  and RE. Their programme of study is enriched through ASDAN Life Skill Awards,  the ASDAN Short course in Science and Art Award.
