7W is a static class of Year 7 students, the teaching team are made up of Mr Walton, Mrs Lowe and Miss Fox. Our aim is to provide a warm and welcoming environment where everyone can succeed and enjoy being part of Croft Community School.
7W is made up of 15 students the majority of whom have joined Croft Community school in Year 7. Students take part in an adapted curriculum; being static for some subjects, such as: English, Mathematics, Science, French, Geography, History and PSHE whilst also having the opportunities to access specialist subject teaching. The specialist teaching 7W accesses includes: Music, Art, PE, Beliefs and Values, Forest School, Design Technology, Art, Computing and Cultural capital.
This hybrid model gives 7W the security of being together in our own class whilst also experiencing other teaching staff and facilities in our school – it offers the best of both worlds and is a great stepping stone to aid transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3.
