To link our science and art, P2 made Plasticine models of different animals they thought they would see in a rainforest. Today children in P2 have sent their Postcards to a care home near Kingston Park. The residents at the home have signed up to take part in the Postcards of Kindness scheme. Despite all the forecast rain, P2 braved the elements and continued with their trip to Chester-le-Street Riverside Park and we were so glad we did. The sun shone down on us from start to finish, making the visit even more memorable.

Children in P2 are accessing visual resources around the classroom to allow them to learn more independently. We are working really hard to learn our 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 times tables. We are taking some responsibility for reaching our EHCP targets, supporting each other in achieving them.
