OPAL

We have loved our first few weeks of Outdoor Play And Learning (OPAL).  We have used our imagination and have been very creative, learning to negotiate and share ideas with each other.  We look forward to adding more resources to our OPAL area soon!    

P4 Visited the Hindu Temple

Practising money skills

P4  accessed the local community to practise road safety and Independent living skills.  The group made a purchase at the local shop and calculated the total cost and change to be given. It was a lovely change to get the group out of the classroom and put their skills learnt into practice.

P3’s Science experiment

Today in Science P3 completed an experiment to see which car would travel the furthest. They tested different heights, materials and length of ramps and different sizes of cars. The pupil’s made predictions before each race. “The grass will slow it.” “The big car will be quicker.” “The car is higher so it flipped.”
