What an exciting time we all had celebrating World Book Day. We loved getting dressed up and sharing our favourite books. We discussed our favourite book characters and enjoyed sharing stories with our parents and carers. We went to a book swap where we exchanged books with each other. We had such a fun day!
In Art, P5 looked carefully at the linear patterns of natural objects. We studied wood, feathers, onions and shells. The patterns were fascinating and we used our pencil skills to draw what we could see, we were really happy with the results. .
P10 had a visit from two Police officers today to discuss how crime is dealt with in the community and how young people can work with the police to keep their community safe.
P3 enjoyed dressing up and writing about their favourite characters for world book day. P3 have been reading ‘The World’s Worst Children’ by David Walliams and some of the characters from the story even made an appearance. Great afternoon had by all.
