Fantastic afternoon at multi sports! Yet again the children of Croft Community School shone. They worked well together, took part in all the activities to the best of the abilities and had a ball. Lots of smiles and cheers all round.

To celebrate our diverse and unique school, children in P2 have been learning about Downs Syndrome. We decorated our own odd socks and watched an animation which promoted how amazing our differences can be.
Our girls football team attended Walker Dome Activity Centre on Wednesday. Newcastle United run a league every year and Croft enter 2 teams. What an exciting time we all had celebrating World Book Day. We loved getting dressed up and sharing our favourite books. We discussed our favourite book characters and enjoyed sharing stories with our parents and carers. We went to a book swap where we exchanged books with each other. We had such a fun day!
In Art, P5 looked carefully at the linear patterns of natural objects. We studied wood, feathers, onions and shells. The patterns were fascinating and we used our pencil skills to draw what we could see, we were really happy with the results. .
