Transition to Post-16 Education
In Year 11 our students will receive a range of support from internal and external providers which will enable a smooth transition to Post-16 provision which best suits their individual needs and interests. College places will be discussed at the Y11 EHCP review and this will be supported through partnerships with Durham Works and the SEND Team at Durham County Council.

Labour Market Information
LMI for All is an online data portal funded by the Department for Education. It brings together existing national sources of high quality labour market information (LMI) that can inform people’s choices about their careers. LMI for All includes information from key datasets from, for example, the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the Department for Education and HESA.
T-Levels
T Levels: what they are
T Levels are new 2-year courses which are taken after GCSEs and are broadly equivalent in size to 3 A Levels. Launched in September 2020, these courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and education providers so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares students for entry into skilled employment, an apprenticeship or related technical study through further or higher education.
T Levels offer students practical and knowledge-based learning at a school or college and on-the-job experience through an industry placement of at least 315 hours – approximately 45 days.
The courses are available at selected colleges, schools and other providers across England.
