Today P3 enjoyed their communication lesson.
They have been working on listening, communication, turn taking and our fine motor skills.
Mr Potato head
During the Mr Potato head game pupils were encouraged to request different body parts. The pupils used PECS to encourage communication, understanding and sentence structure.
Some of the body parts were small which encouraged fine motor skills.
Duplo bingo
Pupils were given a bingo card each with a duplo animal on. They had to listen to Mrs Laverick who described the shape and colour of the duplo piece. If the description matched a piece on their board they put their hand up and said “me”. Once they had a full board and built their animal they shouted “bingo”.
