During Outdoor learning today Birch class embedded their knowledge and understanding for Environment and the need to keep it clean and tidy. The class discussed the importance of littering and the impact this has on our society following last weeks PHSE lesson. All pupils adhered to personal safety whilst out litter picking around the school grounds by wearing the high vis vest, using a litter picker tool, refuse sacks and disposable gloves. At the end of the activity they all washed their hands thoroughly and discussed how much rubbish they had collected in a short space of time and it was three full sacks.
