Fair Trade in Birch

For our Topic lesson we developed our knowledge of what Fair Trade is. We used wrappers of chocolate, fruit and veg and we had to use atlases to identify the countries that they came from. We were told that produce could be either brought to Great Britain using planes, boats or wagons. We had to discuss why we thought the fruit and veg was imported and not grown in Great Britain. We discussed the different climates of countries and how important it is that the weather is to ensure the fruits and vegetables grow.
