This week Hazel class have worked hard learning about different habitats.
First they were given four images of different habitats and asked to name them before moving on to sorting animals into the habitats.
Pupils also worked on their cutting skills.
This was a good activity to understand what pupils already know and how their knowledge can then be built upon.
You never know when we go for a walk in the woods we might just come across a camel hiding there instead of the Gruffalo!
We then went on to focus on one habitat and pupils chose the ocean.
Pupils watched a documentary on the ocean and plants and animals that live their.
Finally Hazel class looked at different water animals before sharing a story.
Well done Hazel class for working super hard!
