This term Maple class have been looking at different types of transport. We were so excited when it was announced that we were going to Beamish,
Maple class looked at all of the different transports that we seen.
The children loved riding on the trams and the busses waving to passerbys
We loved looking at how different the transport is compared to now.
When we were walking around we also looked at the houses. The children were shocked at how small the houses were and that the floor had no carpets,
We even took a trip to the school. There were different entrances for boys and girls and the children were so shocked hat there wasn’t any toys!!
We then went into the shops, the meat was hanging from the ceiling and the shoes were soooo tiny. We didn’t think we would be able to fit into the shoes now,
We had the best day and loved going on the trip. It was so interesting but I know the children’s favourite was riding on the trams.
