This half term in Science we have started learning about Plants.
We learnt the different parts of a plant and labelled them.
Pupils enjoyed investigating with magnifying glasses, taking the flowers apart and looking closely at all the parts.
The following week we enjoyed learning about the difference between bulbs and seeds.
We discussed what plants need to be able to grow.
Oak class decided to start their own garden centre and planted Sweet Peas and Marigold flowers, along with Basil, Garlic, Onions, Radishes and Sugar Snap Peas.
Pupils are taking good care of their plants and ensure they are watered regularly and have enough sunlight.
We can’t wait to learn more about plants after the holidays.
