Good Morning Everyone

We have been sent the full Ofsted report following our inspection on the 12th and 13th October and although it has not been uploaded onto the offical Ofsted website we can share it via the school website. I have added it as an attachment to this blog.

It’s fair to say we are delighted with the outcomes of the inspection and it is testament to the amazing hard work and dedication of all the staff since the last inspection that the school has made such huge strides forward. I just wanted to say a huge public thank you to all the staff and pupils here at Croft for the huge amount of effort that has gone into improving the school and when considering the amount of disruption caused by Covid it is an even greater achievement that the school has developed so much in such a short space of time.

The pupils here are amazing and it is an absolute pleasure to work with them everyday reminding us about why we became teachers in the first place, working alongside them to develop them not just academically but also socially and emotianally. To all the pupils at Croft I also say a big thank you.

Finally to the parents and carers, the parental feedback from the Ofsted questrionnaires were one of the most satisfying experiences of the inspection. Some of the comments from the questionnaires were fantastic and again reminded us all of the reasons why we went into teaching in the first place. The difference we can make to to the lives of your children cannot be underestimated so again we thank you for such positvity and constructive ideas and the opportunity to work alongside both you and your children.
