We took part in drama, art therapy, mindfulness, film making and we even ended with a good sing a long.

In English P5 have been looking at racism and the history of slavery linking to the text we are studying in class. This morning P5 gave their presentations on what they have learned speaking to the class and working together. Well done P5!
We all love to go outside and our OPAL area has some fabulous spaces for us to explore. We are much happier when we wear our wellies and waterproofs and we will be needing them more as the weather changes.
All of our children do go out in all types of weather.
We have been thinking of different ways to sort some of the toys in P1. We thought about sorting by colour and by type of toy. We then tried some trickier ways of sorting and we helped each other to figure them out. There were some good ideas with some great ways to explain our thoughts.
We very carefully followed the instructions to make some flapjack. We were very good at taking turns.
As part of staff wellbeing, one member of staff came into work this morning with this waiting for her from her secret wellbeing buddy. It certainly made her Monday morning!
P4 attended an athletics competition at Consett Leisure Centre and I think you can tell by the smiles on their faces, had a lovely afternoon!
