P1 have enjoyed exploring colour mixing. After reading Dear Zoo and Handa’s Surprise, we chose to make either a lion or an elephant mask and have experimented with different paints to mix together to make the colour that we needed.
P3 have been busy today making Easter crafts for the fayre this Friday (29.03.19).
Don’t forget to stop by P3’s stall to see the finished products.
Fantastic afternoon at multi sports! Yet again the children of Croft Community School shone. They worked well together, took part in all the activities to the best of the abilities and had a ball. Lots of smiles and cheers all round.
On Monday primary and secondary students took part in a range of sporting events to raise money for comic relief. These were Table Tennis, Cricket, Running, Climbing, Dodgeball and Zumba. Here are a range of photos of students from different classes having lots of fun and engaging in article 31 of the Convention of the Rights of the Child, the right to relax and play. Our community support officers also enjoyed the day as did staff! Mr Davis did, however, get beat at dodgeball!

P3 love their accelerated reading time after dinner.
They enjoy completing the quizzes and then choosing a new book from the school library.
The pupils are always excited to talk about the books they have read.
Today we decided to work together, reading our book to a peer and talking about our favourite part of the story.
Great reading and team work P3!
To celebrate our diverse and unique school, children in P2 have been learning about Downs Syndrome. We decorated our own odd socks and watched an animation which promoted how amazing our differences can be.
