A variety of pizzas, new potatoes, salad, and coleslaw followed by fruit/plain scone with fresh cream and jam. Totally amazing again today! Well done everyone!
New year 7’s making school lunches for Summer School
Packed lunches for all students – various sandwiches, cheese scones, cheese and onion rolls, cocktail sausages, crisps , milk and fruit and jelly. Fantastic effort and well done to all our new years 7s. Really looking forward to you all cooking with me in September, so proud of you all.

Fantasic day year 9 making school lunch for all the pupils in summer school. What an amazing job pupils have done, making a variety of quiches, salad, and iced lemon drizzle cake which everyone enjoyed. Great first day, well done.

Dear Year 6,
Good luck for the future, have an amazing summer, secondary are so very lucky to be gaining you all.
Just a little extra message to four individuals who were my first ever class. As a trainee teacher I couldn’t of asked for a more patient and loving class.
Your unique personalities helped me to become the teacher I am today. I learnt so much about windmills, football, Disney princesses, dancing, hoovers, drains and washing machines.
It was been an honor to watch you progress and grow into the kind, funny, amazing and special people you are. I am so proud of you all and wish you all the happiness in the world.

What a lot of plastic!
Since starting our recycling schemes in school at the end of April, we have collected 200 plastic bread bags, over ten weeks, from our morning breakfasts which will be sent off for specialist recycling in the holidays. Wow, can you imagine if every school and household did this in the UK ? Well done to the toast team for making a difference.
Beech trip to Riverside Park, 8.7.21
Beech class had a really great trip to Riverside Park on Thursday. We enjoyed trying out all the equipment and behaved really well around the other users. We followed this up with buying ice creams from the van and eating them on the grass in the sun.
It was so nice to be able to go out of school again after a very, very long COVID time!
