We are taking part in the RSPB Big Bird Watch 29th Jan-31st Jan 2021! We decided in preparation to make bird feeders which would allow birds to come into our school grounds and at home by making homemade bird feeders. You can join up for the Big bird Watch at the link below:

We used oranges, some bird feed and lots of lard! We had to get the inside of an orange scooped out using a spoon, it was very messy, but we had our gloves and paper towels down. We then mixed the bird seed and lard together wearing gloves. We then had to get some string and the teachers poked holes into the oranges and attached the string through the holes to allow the orange to hang. Then we got the mixture and put it into the oranges.
