Roman Centurion
Pupils in Year 8 have been learning about the Renaissance in history this term and how these new ideas and beliefs were linked to the Roman and Greek civilisations. One of pupils embraced these new ideas by coming into school today dressed as a Roman centurion. Pretty scary stuff!
Maple Sports Day
Even though the weather was a little rubbish it was not stopping us from doing our sports day. We still had a great sports day inside our Sports Hall.
There were 6 different stations and music playing. It was a great atmosphere.
It was so much fun.
We had javelin, hurdles, long jump, throwing and even more.
Maple class always love and enjoy sports day.
Rewards Day With Maple
What a year it has been, we have honestly loved ever single second and watching your wonderful children grow and succeed, everyday has been our pleasure. We know what ever class they are going into next year they will glow so bright and continue to amaze us or their new staff.
We always love rewards day as it is so lovely seeing the children have the best day and watching their faces light up after they have worked so hard.
We had a lovely walk around the market to see all the brilliant things that had been made and for sale. However the children had the best time on the inflatables. They’re big smiles going down the slide were so amazing to see.
On the afternoon we went to the sports hall where there were even more fun things to do! There was a ball bit, a bouncy castle and a slide!
The best part was Maple had it all to ourselves!!
As you can see the children had an absolute blast!!
However I do think Miss Garrity and Miss Birbeck has more fun!
Thankyou for bringing these wonderful children into our lives, it has been the best year.

Year 6 Croft Garden Fun!!
Today some of our parents/careers came into school to see our Year 6 books for their end of year treat. The children and adults enjoyed some pizza, cookies and juice. We also had a special treat from Mrs Howard and had some Pea Pods from the garden. Thank you all for coming!
Beech visit the Beach!
What a fantastic day exploring weathering and how it changes our coastlines. We spotted stacks, stumps, bays, caves, cliffs, headlands and even a small arch!
And of course we had a little paddle in the sea after a hard morning of geography work!
