Wellbeing Call
Afternoon Everybody
Hope your all doing well. Just to let you know there have been some unseen complications with provision for free school meals payments.
Also, staff from school will be phoning home this week just to see how your all getting on. This is a good opportunity to request more work, get passwords for educational website and generally just keep in touch.

Daily virtual lessons for children
We’re excited to announce that from Monday 23rd March we’re scheduling Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons on Facebook and YouTube for children to watch at home.
We will release three short Speed Sound lessons with one of our trainers every day for the next two weeks. The films will only be available at the times below:
- Set 1 Speed Sounds at 9.30 am and again at 12.30 pm
- Set 2 Speed Sounds at 10.00 am and again at 1.00 pm
- Set 3 Speed Sounds at 10.30 am and again at 1.30 pm
We’re also releasing a film of a poem for Reception and Year 1 children to join in with at 2.00 pm every day. The poems will be available on YouTube to watch again and again. They’re already on Oxford Owl and the EHTC portal. A great opportunity for children to learn these by heart!

Dear parents/carers
During this time, it is vital that our children continue to read. Reading opens to the doors to so many opportunities and allows them to access all areas of the curriculum.
To support the children’s reading, AR has changed their licensing which means we are able to test at home.
Please find all the information about how to access it below.
If the text your child is reading is not on AR, please do not worry. The focus is reading, not testing. When your child is reading, you can ask them questions to support their learning. It does not all have to be done on AR.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. If the class teacher is unable to help contact us via the school email or Facebook page.
