Today in Hazel class we introduced Commando Joe’s.
Commando Joe’s supports children in the development of Resilience, Empathy, Self – Awareness, Positivity, Excellence, Communication and Teamwork.
Romeo Resilience and Incy Wincy Spider came to Hazel class today with our first mission.
Incy wincy told us all about his Resilience when he was trying to climb up the spout. However, Incy Wincy had got stuck up the spout and Hazel class needed to help save him.
Hazel class really needed to work together to be able to rescue Incy Wincy. Showing patience, teamwork, communication and perseverance.
Pupils discovered the importance of communicating with each other. If one person in the team went too fast or they tried to step forward using different legs than they ended up tripping up.
Incy Wincy was very cheeky as well and would sometime run off from pupils as they were about the reach him.
Well done Hazel Class, for all you sometimes found the activity difficult, you all worked super hard and didn’t give up until Incy Wincy was caught. We then finished the mission with a story all about Incy Wincy.
