We have had another busy week in Rowan Class.
In DT we have been looking at practicing stitching. We started off using our threading activities and when we were super good at that we got out our needles and practiced some stitching on materials.
Everyone was doing brilliant and were super safe with the needles.
In Science we have been carrying on learning about absorbance and waterproof. We have carried out an experiment to see which materials are waterproof and which ones absorb the water.
We then recorded the results into our Science books. The children were brilliant in giving examples of items that were waterproof and absorbent.
We have also has our first week on our new PESSPA activities at breaktime which has been a lovely change for the children. These get changed every 2 weeks.
