We went on a VERY exciting trip here in Rowan Class to Tynemouth Aquarium.
The bus trip was a little long on the way there however Rowan class kept themselves entertained by singing some lovely songs together.
Once we arrived we got checked in and we then started to look around. There were so many different animals and creatures. Some were very bright and some were dark colours. We absolutely loved looking at all the different types of fish and water animals.
At 11 o’clock we were very lucky to be able to have a talk about different animals and fish that live in the sea. We got to have a look at two different star fish. These both were different colours and felt different. We found out that star fish have 5 eyes on each leg and if they loose a leg it can take up to 1 year to grow back. WE WERE AMAZEDDDDD.
Some of our children were brave and had a feel.
We had to be very gentle.
The children done all of the photography on this trip! Didn’t they do amazing.
At the end there was a HUGE tank with loads of fish and even SHARKS!!
We had the best day. We even got a little treat at the shop in the end.
