During Outdoor education 80 went prepared with litter pickers, gloves and refuse sacks to give the area a good tidy up and make it safer. During the lock down months areas have been neglected and started to become unsafe. Staff supported pupils to identify the risks that could occur if the area was left untouched and what could they do to manage the risk to make it safer for themselves and others to use. Staff also discussed how this was meaningful to them in PFA and the world of work to identify and manage risks in the workplace. In doing this the pupils made a positive contribution to our school community.
