How we used Vocational Studies at Croft Community School.
Pupils at our school have a selection of courses at the end of Key Stage 3 to choose a Vocational pathway into Key Stage 4 (Year 10 & 11). In Year 9, with pupils studying the full range of National Curriculum, A Bespoke Preparation for Adult Curriculum and a Needs Based Curriculum. In the Summer term the options process begins, with a commitment to getting pupils on the best curriculum pathway for Key Stage 4. This is implemented with parents and carers, in the best interests of the pupil, maximising progression opportunities for further education and employment.
